Mobilize the National Guard to shut down violent and destructive post election riots.

For more than 200 years, the United States has proudly enjoyed peaceful transitions of power. In his speech on the outcome of the election, President Obama himself proclaimed that "the peaceful transition of power is one of the hallmarks of our democracy, and over the next few months we are going to show that to the world." Mr. President, please stop this purposeless violence. Show President-elect Trump, the Republican Party, and the Nation that you are serious about creating unity and respect, so that we can move forward together as Americans.
