Establish the United States of America Bitcoin Treasury Reserve (USABTR)

On November 4th, 2020 the United States Department of Justice seized about 70,000 Bitcoin (BTC) from a criminal enterprise, worth over $1 billion USD. (https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndca/pr/united-states-files-civil-action-fo...)

We object to federal public auctions of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a powerful economic tool which is increasingly scarce. Therefore, it is a national security concern.

We the people request the United States Government to establish a Bitcoin Treasury Reserve (USABTR). The USABTR will custody Bitcoin on behalf of the Senate and People of the United Sates..

Congress should restrict the liquidation or sale of scarce digital assets such as Bitcoin in order to preserve our Wealth of Nation for future generations
