The brief was filed in the U.S. Supreme Court to support a Texas lawsuit against Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
The lawsuit challenges irregularities with the 2020 election. Most importantly, it challenges the failure of states to adhere to their own Constitution which requires that only the legislature is permitted to change election rules. They have permitted their Secretary of State to change ballot return deadline against the explicit language in their constitution. Furthermore, the lawsuit challenges the method by which ballots were counted as well as "the manner of appointing presidential electors.”
